Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

This policy explains how the Pilepop app (“Pilepop”, package com.zarghamlabs.pilepop) and the website pilepop.com handle information. Pilepop is published by Zargham Labs LLC, a limited liability company registered in Montana, USA (“we”, “us”).

Short version: Pilepop has no accounts and never asks for your name or email. Your progress is saved on your phone. The app sends anonymous game stats to our own server, linked only to a random ID created on your phone. We don’t sell personal data. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob.

1. Information that stays on your device

Your levels, coins, boosters, streak, settings and purchase receipts are saved on your phone. Uninstalling the app or using Settings → Delete my data removes them.

2. Anonymous game stats (our server)

When you first open Pilepop, the app creates a random player ID (a UUID). It is not your advertising ID, phone number or any hardware ID. The app sends the following to our server at pilepop.com/api, hosted on our own server:

  • the random player ID, app version and language;
  • game progress: highest level, number of sessions, total play time, coin balance, pops, streak, and whether “Remove forced ads” is owned;
  • daily counters: how many levels you played and how many ads were shown or completed (no ad identifiers).

We use this to balance levels, keep the game working and prevent abuse. Daily counters are kept for up to 400 days; your player record is kept until you delete it or stop using the app. We may keep request logs (IP address, time) for up to 30 days for security.

3. Advertising

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob: optional reward videos that you choose to watch, and full-screen ads between levels. AdMob may collect and use your device’s advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and ad interaction data to serve, measure and (with your consent where required) personalise ads, and to prevent fraud. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent with Google’s consent tool; you can change your choice in Settings → Privacy options. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings. Learn more: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

4. Purchases

In-app purchases (coin packs, the starter bundle, the rescue pack and “Remove forced ads”) are sold through Google Play. Google processes your payment; we never see your payment details. The app receives purchase confirmations from Google Play to give you what you bought. To help Google Play match purchases, the app sends a one-way hash of your random player ID with the purchase.

5. Data shared with third parties

We do not use other analytics or crash-reporting SDKs in this version. If that changes, we will update this policy and the Google Play data safety section first.

6. Website

pilepop.com does not use cookies, analytics or trackers.

7. Children

Pilepop is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children.

8. Your rights and deleting data

In the app, Settings → Delete my data erases everything on your phone and deletes the anonymous stats linked to your player ID from our server straight away. You can also email [email protected]; we answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK or California), you may have rights to access, delete or object to processing. See also Delete your data.

9. Security and transfers

All network traffic from the app uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our server is hosted by OVHcloud; Google may process advertising data in the United States and other countries under its own safeguards.
